A lot of people ask us why Rubidium? Or if they have long forgotten the elements on the periodic table, what is Rubidium?
Well, we wanted to do something more interesting than naming the company after the last name of the founder. We wanted to have the name embody something fundamental about us. Rubidium is highly reactive. Being highly reactive is a business priority for us, and this means responding quickly to our customers needs. As well as being reactive, the other properties of Rubidium lend itself to being the backbone of high precision devices such as atomic clocks, and the Global Position System (GPS). Just as the telecommunications industry has developed the ‘Rubidium Standard’ because of the precision, accuracy, and repeatability of Rubidium. Our ‘Rubidium Standard’ is defined by delivering reactive, and innovative solutions that bring value and stability to our clients.
At Rubidium Environmental, we appreciate the value of your time. We understand you are busy, and we constantly invest in new technologies to make us more efficient at our jobs, minimizing the amount of your time we need to consume. Why? Because we understand that you likely have a million other things you need to be working on as well.
World Class Expertise For Your Local Problems
What sets us apart is our experience, and our staff have travelled the world getting it. Understanding the science of what we do is really only half the battle. The other half is understanding what you do. Building models, running advanced computer software, and having a good working relationship with the regulators is essential. And sometimes that’s enough to get you an environmental compliance approval for your operations. But what about when it is not? Computer software are tools, but they are limited by the user’s knowledge and experience. At Rubidium, we take great pride in our ability to understand your operations. Our staff have spent time working in chemical manufacturing plants, commissioning boilers and burners, incinerators, managed construction projects, designed and fabricated pollution control equipment, and even spent time as commissioning engineers getting facilities up and running – even if it means grinding weights on an impeller of a fan to balance it at 2am. I guess you can say we have a good ‘feel’ for things. We put this experience to use assisting our clients maintain environmental compliance, by developing results that accurately reflect the realities of your operations. You’d be surprised be the nonsense we commonly see when we have reviewed information contained with Emission Summary & Dispersion Modelling reports, or Acoustic Assessment Reports. We keep a running list in our office, don’t hesitate to ask us about it. We think you’ll get a chuckle out of it as well.
We often get asked about our logo, and what does it represent. The sequence of squares demonstrate the myriad of complex government regulations that industrial manufacturers, property developers, and land use planners face. The motion of the squares and graduation in colour emote change. This dictates the process and results that Rubidium’s environmental engineering services bring to every project. There are 23 squares in this logo subtly representing the fact that Rubidium is the 23rd most abundant element in the Earth’s crust. The grey to green colour change signifies both the rise of pollution as well as the effective solutions created by Rubidium Environmental.
At Rubidium, we react. We communicate and we use our experience and investment in technology to enable us to deliver top-tier work in a fraction of the time it takes our competitors. It is our goal to provide a level of customer service that is unmatched in our industry.
Thank you, and we appreciate the opportunity to work together.
